Crysis CrytekRumors of well-known software houses developing MMOs are more and more usual. First we had news of Infinity Ward working on a Call of Duty MMO, and recently that Bethesda may be working on a Elder Scrolls massively multiplayer game. We'll have to wait and see.

But now, it seems that Crytek (developers of major hits Far Cry and Crysis) may be working on something besides Crysis 2. The LinkedIn profile of Yegor Bondar, who worked for Crytek Kiev (and is now at Ubisoft), revealed the existence of an unannounced MMOFPS by Crytek. The entry read: "Game \ Level designer Crytek Kiev (Privately Held; Computer Games industry) November 2008 — July 2009 (9 months) Not announced Online MMO FPS." The "Online MMO FPS" part has been removed.

Unless things go horribly wrong, Crytek may have an announcement to make in the next few months.
