Aion 'Best Online Game' at GamesCom

It looks like Aion is set to be as successful in Europe and North America as it was in Asia. It's strong debut leaves NCsoft reassured of the 'second only to World of Warcraft' declarations, and the 'Best Online Game' award at GamesCom only makes things look even better.

The winner of the 'Best Online Game' prize is voted for by six very knowledgeable game experts, including high level representatives from some of the largest magazines in Germany, the USK (responsible for age rating), one of the country's largest retailers and one of the country's major gaming websites.

Aion is due to release next month.
