Just as predicted, Blizzard announced the new expansion for World of Warcraft, called Cataclysm. The official website is already live and filled with info, including screenshots, artworks, a FAQ and a trailer.

It's confirmed that Goblins and Worgens are the two new playable races, and the level cap is raised to 85. Take a look at the new story and features, and watch the announce trailer and some screenshots (more on the official website) below.

Hidden away in a secluded sanctuary, the corrupted Dragon Aspect Deathwing has waited, recovering from the wounds of his last battle against Azeroth and biding his time until he can reforge the world in molten fire.

Soon, Deathwing the Destroyer will return to Azeroth, and his eruption from Deepholm will sunder the world, leaving a festering wound across the continents.
