Aion released, one update per year

Today is the day when North American players get to play the launch version of the eagerly awaited MMORPG Aion. European players will only play on Friday. The official website has also been revamped.

This is probably the biggest MMORPG launching this year, and NCsoft promises to keep things interesting. In an interview to VG247, brand manager Christian-Peter Heimbach said that "There will be at least one major update a year". He added "You know this from our previous titles. We’re currently adjusting on how we’re going to make these available, but there will be free content updates for all players, and we’re looking then at how big the major updates will be."
