PC Beta for Final Fantasy XIV (updated)

Final Fantasy XIV MMORPGIt's in the pages of Japanese mag Shonen Jump that Square Enix revealed their intentions: access keys to the PC Beta of Final Fantasy XIV will be placed inside the Final Fantasy XIII retail versions. Final Fantasy XIII will be in stores in Japan on December 17th, but only concerning the PlayStation 3 version.

There is no confirmation if all the game boxes will include the Beta keys, but seeing as Final Fantasy XIII is likely to sell by the millions, it's difficult to tell.

Final Fantasy XIII will be available in the rest of the world in Q1 2010.

Update: Actually, other sources denied the Beta keys in FFXIII. It seems that FFXIII's offer is more humble: just a coupon for a bonus item for Final Fantasy XIV.
