Champions Online: no X360 version

It looks like this time it's for good. Cryptic Studios is giving up on the Xbox 360 version of its super-hero MMO Champions Online. Cryptic' boss Jack Emmert said in a forum post that "The Xbox development effort is an absolute waste of resources. You need to be putting all of your development efforts into the PC side and keeping this from failing within the year".

Jack Emmert also added this conclusive piece: "100% of our focus is on making the current PC product the best it can be. There are no current plans for a console version of Champions."

It seems that console fans of comic book MMOs will have to wait for DC Universe Online to be released on the PS3.
