After the success that Blizzard had with their World of Warcraft mounts, now is the time for Sony Online Entertainment to follow their lead and sell some $25 mounts for EverQuest II.

They add that this decision was based on player demand, and there are three different Prowler mounts to choose from: Ethereal, Ulteran and Sinister. Each one costs 2500 Station Cash points, same as saying it's $25, €25 or £20. However, these mounts actually provide some stat boosts, giving buying players an advantage over regular players.

Each mount comes in your choice of one of the following versions: Fierce and Arcane. The Fierce version increases Slashing, Aggression, Ranged, Piercing and Crushing of caster by 5, while the Arcane version increases Focus, Ordination, Disruption, Subjugation and Ministration of caster by 5. Both versions of the mount have a 65% run speed.
