Frank Pearce, Blizzard's co-founder said that Cataclysm, the third expansion for World of Warcraft may be released in 2010. However, the date is not to be fully trusted, as he told VG247 that the expansion will only be launched if it's ready. If not, they'll keep working on it.

The Beta is scheduled to start this Summer, so it's likely that Cataclysm could be released during the end of the year. But as we all know, Blizzard isn't one to set dates on stone, so we'll have to wait and see.
