Final Fantasy XIV: the harsh numbers

Final Fantasy XIV MMORPGSquare Enix revealed some numbers from Final Fantasy XIV and they're not the most flattering. Only 630.000 copies were distributed to retailers (not sold) all over the world: 210.000 in the US, 190.000 in Japan and 230.000 in Europe.

Disappointing numbers to the publisher and the fans who were expecting an impressive MMORPG, but Square Enix says they're hard at work improving the game with the upcoming updates.

The PS3 version is still scheduled for March 2011.
